Friday 5/30: CARP Talk

Friday 5/16 : Some thoughts on relationships

Hey carpies!

We will be having our bi-weekly CARP meeting this Friday, May 16th, 2014 starting from 6-8 p.m. at Pasadena House.

Join us for an evening of sharing with others and discussing this month's theme on "Relationships". This will be an opportunity to reflect on the important relationships in our lives while listening to the experiences of others and discovering different perspectives on the topic.

Friday 5/2: Relationships (CARP Talk with Michael Holmes)

Hey folks!

This Friday, Michael Holmes will be giving a CARP talk on this month's theme of "Relationships". Please come join us for a night of fun and games plus a CARP talk given by our brother Michael (who will be leaving for Brazil this Monday for 6 months!!!)

Friday 4/25: Vision Boards!

Hey carpies,

Are you tired? Mentally? Physically? Emotionally!? Being a young adult in this world of responsibility and freedom can be tough stuff.

Take a break from this semester's chaos and join us for a Carp session on VISION BOARD making. This is basically a creative session where you put all the important things in your life onto a board. It can include things like your personal mantra, pictures of loved ones, inspirational quotes, dreams, goals (that 4.0 gpa, eh?) -- anything that will help you center yourself and fuel your inspiration to keep on going.

Things to bring: -Photos that you want to put on your boards. (You can also email them to emichanstf@gmail.com and we will print them for ya at Pas house for a small donation) -Magazines -Scissors -Glue/tape

Carp will provide: -Cardboard for the backdrop -Construction paper -Markers and colored pencils

Next CARP: Sunday, April 20th

Hey guys!

The next CARP is this Sunday, April  20th and we are planning to make it a movie/hangout day! It will take place after the Easter workshop at around 1:00 pm. This means we will not have the usual Friday meeting. Please vote on which movie you would like to watch on our Facebook page. Details and other information are TBA.

College Social: Beach Day & Bonfire!

Come and hang out at the beach this Thursday April 10th! We are gonna have a bonfire, sports, games, and a potluck. Why? WHY NOT!? 

So please bring food or drink for 5-7 peeps and POST it below or on our Facebook event page (link at the bottom of the page). If you have firewood you can also just bring that!

Please park at the Dockweiler Youth Center. Cost is $6.00 for all day parking so carpool if you can! We will be on the first available fire pit to the right/north of the lot. 

Again, post if you are bringing stuff so we know!

IMPORTANT: Don't park at the regular Dockweiler parking lot! You will waste $6 because we won't be there. Park at the Youth Center. 12505 Vista Del Mar, Playa Del Rey, California 90293
